Should I ever pop my pimples?

Absolutely not. When you pop pimples it causes an uncontrolled injury to your skin, this will generally result into marks and scarring. Hence it should be absolutely avoided.

Home remedies that use clay or anything organic can cause reactions and infections on your skin and should be avoided at all costs.

Is there anything like ‘body heat’ causing acne?

They are largely safe when administered by a qualified dermatologist. As with every other medical procedures, there may be risk(s) associated with these too. However, the type and degree of associated risk(s) depends on the area and concern being treated, the treatment itself, the patient’s medical history, etc., and is more often than not, negligible.

Will I start looking plastic after these procedures?

The fact is that all of these procedures are done in such a way so as to create a very gentle facelift. Also the placement of injectable treatments is such that the reduction in wrinkles looks absolutely natural and your face does not look pulled or stretched in any way.

Will the results be permanent?

Results of some of the procedures like HIFU and Skin resurfacing are additive in nature. Hence with every session there is an improvement in the condition. While for procedures like botox and dermal fillers the results are instantaneous but have a definitive lifetime. Example in case of dermal fillers the results last between 1 year and 2 years at most, after which the procedure would need to be repeated to maintain results.

Will my skin be worse if I do not continue treatments?

This is an absolute myth. There is no degradation in the condition of your skin in case one stops any skin rejuvenation treatment.

Every procedure has a set frequency which needs to be followed in case the same is to be repeated to improve upon results. For most non invasive procedures this period is between 3 and 6 weeks. Unfortunately, there are no superfoods that one can eat for immediate reduction in hair loss. The goal is to eat a healthy and balanced diet, which incorporate adequate amount of protein and vitamins that boost hair growth.

Can a diet change cause hair loss?

Yes, it can. Crash diets often cause hair loss. This can include reduced protein or vitamin intake. Restoring regular balanced diet along with topical and oral medications can help achieve normalcy.

Is Hair loss hereditary?

Hair loss can be genetic or it can be caused by any temporary change in physiology. Sometimes, hair loss can also occur due to infections. The best person to gauge the cause of hair loss is a dermatologist.

Can hair loss be a sign of something serious?
